CUSTOMER CHALLENGE:
InSequence recently delivered an Intelligence Community (IC) customer a comprehensive solution to their disconnected environments.
This IC customer had a complex environment and was challenged with collecting asset data across multiple complex and disconnected environments. They lacked insight into their IT investment risk, cost, and usage.
APPROACH:
InSequence installed Flexera FlexNet Manager into the customer environment, integrating with 100+ unique data sources across 48 domains on multiple disconnected networks.
Inventory data was then collected from all environments, consolidated on a single network, normalized and fed into the ServiceNow configuration management database (CMDB).
RESULTS:
As a result of InSequence integration and consolidation efforts, the customer now had a single, current view of on-prem and cloud assets across their enterprise.
This automation and integration:
- Reduced risk of manual data entry
- Increased data accuracy
- Improved CMDB completeness
